Heavy rains in Bengal up to September 14 According to forcasts

(PTI) The Met department forecast on Saturday torrential rain throughout West Bengal till September 14 because of the intensification in a lower pressure zone that was formed in the Bay of Bengal.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted widespread rain with isolated severe thunderstorms and heavy showers across Gangetic West Bengal from Saturday until Monday, and throughout Sub-Himalayan West Bengal between September 12-14.

The weatherman forecast very massive rainfall across Gangetic West Bengal on September 11 and 12.

Squally weather conditions and speeds of more than 45 kmph are expected to prevail in the coasts of West Bengal and Odisha over the next 36-hour period.

The weatherman warned fishermen against venturing into deep waters from Saturday until Monday.
