(PTI) With 7,591 new cases of coronavirus being recorded in just a few hours and a half, India’s total of COVID-19 infections climbed to 4,441,15,723, and active cases fell to 84,931, as per reports from Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday.
The death toll rose to 5,27,799 and included 30 new deaths. In addition, 15 deaths have already been fully reconciled. Kerala The data was were updated at 8 am.
The active cases account for 0.19 percent of total cases however, the national COVID-19 recovery rate was 98.62 percent The ministry stated.

The rate of positivity for the day was recorded as 4.58 per cent , with the weekly positivity rate was 2.69 percent as per the ministry.
The number of patients who have recovered from the disease jumped to 4,38,02993. Meanwhile, the death rate for cases was recorded as 1.19 per cent.
As per the Ministry of Health, 211.91 million doses Covid vaccine have been given to the nation so far as part of the national vaccination drive.
The COVID-19 total of India had exceeded 20 lakh on the 7th of August and 2020. It was followed by 30 million on 23 August forty lakhs on the 5th of September, and fifty lakh by September 16. The 30 fatalities that have been reported are five of Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra Three each in Mizoram along with West Bengal, two from Kerala and one of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Manipur, Haryana, Gujarat and Goa.
