4 people injured in a collapse of a building at Delhi’s Azad market

(PTI) Four victims were hurt on Friday morning after the building that was under construction fell four stories in Delhi’s north Azad market, the officials said.


According to the department of fire an alarm regarding an incident came in on 8.30 am.

The Deputy Chief of Police (north) Sagar Singh Kalsi stated that the building could be a victim of overloading.

“Four people have been injured in the incident as of now. Prima facie, it appears that the building collapsed due to overload. No one was staying in it,” the official added.

The injured are in hospital, Kalsi said.
